Urinalysis to Test for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, HIV and other STD

Sometimes referred to as a urinalysis test, Total urinary analysis (UA) testing involves multiple routine tests on a urine specimen. It will be used when other test results require follow-up because it is very rare that abnormalities in the body do not show up in either blood or urine tests. 

The UA test typically consists of:

• Color
• Appearance
• Odor
• pH
• Presence of proteins, glucose, ketones, and blood
• Red and white blood cells 
• Bacteria
